About this event
The Studio in Bath, is Bath Spa University’s city-centre home for enterprise and innovation. We provide free and paid-for space for micro-businesses, Bath Spa University students, and graduates to work on projects and ideas that focus on creativity and technology.
As part of this year's Bath Digital Festival we are holding an open morning so that visitors can see what is happening behind the doors, within the building. A selection of Studio Residents will be showcasing their work and discussing research and projects with visitors. Among other things, you can expect to find: satellite sensors from Lacuna Space, soft robotics using low pressure air systems from Little Lost Robot, interactive therapeutic textiles from Bonnie Binary, ‘Sonic Dancer’ – a creative exploration of technology, movement, and presence from Silvia Carderelli-Gronau and 'The Studio Breathes' and interactive app developed by Dave Webb.
Explore The Studio from 10 am to 1 pm on Wednesday, 20 October. The only thing you need to bring is a curious mind. Booking is essential.
