About this event
Imagine if you could remove the physical limits of your body or world?
VR draws on all of our senses and immerses you in a world limited only by your imagination - which is transforming innovation within healthcare, education and technology.
Through the magic of VR, I get to take those too poorly to walk swimming with dolphins, children undergoing chemotherapy to explore space… Sharing these experiences with them has been amazing. The benefits are immediately apparent as people forget their pain, breathe easier and smile more.
The latest medical and therapeutic advances in technology should be available to the very children and adults it is designed for – not just those already in the hospital, or the rich, or physically able. These benefits should be available to those who would benefit most - yet currently are the least likely to access it.
My name is Rebecca and in September last year, I created virtual reality therapies, an innovative and new social enterprise, specially created for kids with special needs & adults with disabilities. We are dedicated to making the inaccessible, accessible. Come and see us to learn more about the benefits of VR for health & wellbeing, whilst having fun with the latest VR experiences!
