About this event

The perilous state of the earth’s natural environment is daily news and it would seem we are approaching a point of no return with rising global temperatures, wildlife habit destruction on an industrial scale and plastic clogging our vast oceans and our tiniest cellular organisms.

It can be argued that technology is at least part of the problem, but can technology also be part of the solution?  In this talk Craig will look at how new technology is providing more data, deeper understandings and faster responses to environmental threats with a detailed look at recent work tracking sea turtles and developing a novel device to understand plastic waste travel in rivers and Oceans.
