1pm - 2pm, Friday 20th October 2017

Innovation is changing and has changed over the last 20 years. This talk will explore how businesses can manage, capture and exploit innovation on order to survive.

About this event

Recent years have seen huge shifts in technology and culture. From email to the iPhone to Alpha Go, the way we work is profoundly changing. Companies that do not innovate do not survive. But how best to manage, capture and exploit innovation? And how to do this in an age when many of us have little respite from our notifications? In this talk we will look at how companies around the world are facing this challenge, how to maximise return on funding and investment for innovation while reducing cost, and how emerging technologies can help. The talk will touch on how innovation is changing and has changed over the last 20 years, workflow processing, documentation, intellectual property tools, available big data sets, online systems, deep natural language processing and legal technology.
