  • Past Festival Event

Five speakers come together to lead a panel discussion on how to make our tech workplaces more diverse.

About this event

Bath SETSquared Innovation Centre Director, Rosie Bennett, will talk about her journey with imposter syndrome, shedding light on the confidence issues that hold individuals back. Scott Logic Head of Development, Andrew Carr, will speak about giving people the right opportunities to succeed, including addressing the idea of positive discrimination. Organisational Consultant, Jane Ginnever, will tell us about why we should make our workplaces more flexible, and the fears that hold us back from doing so. Pure Planet CMO, Stephen Day, will speak about how they’re introducing fairer egalitarian policies, including completely equal parental leave. And Redington CTO, Adam Jones, will talk about supporting returners after a break.

Equality and diversity are good for business, and our panellists will tell us how we can succeed, before opening the floor to questions from the audience.
