Cyber Choices

Tuesday 20th October 2020

This webinar addresses intentional and unintentional cyber activities which would be considered offences under the Computer Misuse Act.

About this event

Findings show that more young people are likely to undertake cyber activities which would be considered offences under the Computer Misuse Act, but not necessarily because they are criminally minded. Some learn cyber skills through online forums or videos without considering the legal and criminal consequences of practicing hacking unethically.

Cyber Choices is a national scheme, backed by the South West’s Regional Cyber Crime Unit, aiming to support young people who are particularly talented or interested in cyber & the professionals who surround them. We have also been recognised as a partner to the Cyber First Schools initiative, developed by the National Cyber Security Centre, to positively reinforce learning cyber skills.

This webinar is aimed at 13-16 year olds of any ability
