About this event
Collisions means conflict, or at least the potential for it. Many of us see conflict as a threat and as a result we tend to avoid it. There's a cost to that though, because avoiding the potential for conflict also means avoiding views which are different to our own and people that are different to us. Moving towards or even embracing conflict and exploiting those differences can bring huge benefits, for business and for those who can get more comfortable with it.
I'll talk about why we find conflict so difficult, what happens as a result of our fear and how to create and maintain organisational cultures where conflict is embraced and the benefits that can deliver.
The outcome will be delegates who understand how they and others respond to conflict and an increased appetite for making changes on a personal and organisational level that will help them reap the benefits.
