You’ve been handed a pack of resources at the school gates with an “off you go” and “good luck”.

Suddenly you’re playing the role of teacher as well as attempting the day job from home. Luckily, the world has pulled together with tonnes of ideas, online resources and tools to help keep your little one’s entertained.

Here’s a few of our favourites from local businesses, individuals and support groups. 

English and Maths webinars.

Bath based DoodleMaths are hosting free webinars for teachers and parents about high-impact home learning and how to get the most out of using DoddleMaths at home.

Make a rainbow!

Join the community and get your children to paint, draw, build a rainbow. Place in a window for friends and family to spot when out and about on their daily walk.

Join parents in Bath every day at 10.30am for fun and games to keep children busy.

Get active.

We know this chap isn’t local but we hear this chap has been quite a hit with the kiddies. Hand over your PE lesson to Joe Wicks, The Body Coach, each day at 9am while you sit back with a cuppa. Active play for the children, relaxation for you… winning!

Get creative.

Our friend Jack at Beyond the Brand has out together an amazing Film School resource page where you can make your own stop motion animation. Its fun and creative and will keep you and your little ones entertained for hours.
