We're looking for an events manager to join us on a six months maternity cover contract, starting latest 1 June until the end of November.
Contract: 6 months maternity cover, freelance contract with flexible hours. Part time from 1 June - 30 Nov 21 and must include 18-23 October.
Salary: £150 per day, invoiced and paid monthly. Tax, national insurance, sick or holiday pay, travel, pension and any other benefits are not covered by the charity. Minor expenses will be reimbursed.
Hours: Working hours are flexible. The role is likely suited to a freelancer or someone with flexibility as workload will vary week-by-week around key deadlines and event dates.
Bath Digital Festival is a registered charity that champions digital and technology in Bath and surrounding areas through high profile events, showcases and interactions with the community at a local and international scale.

You will join the team as an Event Manager to take the Bath Digital Festival activities through the full events cycle, from curation to completion and post event wrap up.
You’ll be fully responsible for the project management, finances and delivery of all three projects. You’ll also be responsible for a small team made up of a Fundraising Manager, Volunteers and Festival trustees on a project by project basis.
The role is very hands-on. You’ll need to be a skilled Event Manager with experience delivering face to face, hybrid and virtual events. Experience in the digital and technology sector, preferably with strong local contacts would also be an advantage. If you're outgoing, self-motivated and have a proactive approach to work, this role is for you.
